Baptism in Tehuacan

Brother Israel was baptized last week in Mexico - praise the Lord! Israel lives in Tlaxcala, but his baptism took place in Tehuacan where a few other brethren live. Please pray for Israel; he had to forsake family to follow the Lord, as is the case with many true followers of Christ.

Baptism

Sister Elaynne (David V's mother) was baptized a few months ago - praise the Lord! Here are a few photos of that. We are thankful and blessed to have her in our lives.

Also during the same time, Joel, Rose and their children came to visit us from Canada, as did Robert and his family from MA. We hope to see them again soon.

Street preaching ...

Two weeks ago we were greeted with this sign on the corner we usually occupy in Springfield, MO every friday and saturday night. They sure didn't give us much space!

Another Baptism

A small group of us were thankful to be able to go up to BC to visit some brethren there. While there, Brother Joel was baptized; you will see him here with Brother Michel. Our visit there was a blessing - the main message was recorded; you can hear it here: Preaching in BC, august 2011

Praise the Lord!

(Joel, if I got something wrong, please let me know!) This picture was taken on a bridge; from wiki: Hagwilget Canyon Bridge is a suspension bridge over the Hagwilget Canyon on the Bulkley River, at the Wet'suwet'en village of Hagwilget, British Columbia. It is one of North America's highest suspension bridges.

It was cold in BC; here is Brother David K. by the wood stove. He and Brother Olen slept near it each night.

Baptism

Chris is a young man we met while preaching on the streets in downtown Springfield. He spoke with Brian a year or so ago and then more recently he spoke with Brian again one weekend and then with David K, Kevn and Olen the next weekend. At that point he decided to leave all and follow the Lord. He has had to fight many battles but has been faithful. He is a blessing to have around and we praise the Lord for another brother.

Chris was baptized 1 1/2 weeks ago; here are a few pictures of that:

Baptism in Mexico

David went to Mexico last weekend to baptize Damian - you can see him on the right with the striped shirt. Marcus is to his left, and then David in the lighter shirt.

Please pray for Damian ... he has a lot of opposition.

Brian M. and Marcus.
How could I not include this? Randall and Roger.
