Street Preaching With Signs

There was a car show going on in downtown Monett, MO this evening, so the brothers took to the streets with their signs ...

Brother Kevn and Brother Marcus stood where the traffic coming in and out could see them.  They also talked to pedestrians that stopped.

Brother Corban and Brother David V. walked up and down the main street with their signs; several people stopped them to talk.

This man stopped and talked for about a half hour - it was a blessing to listen in.

  1. Glad that someone actually stopped and had a conversation. May God bless you and those that come into contact with you.

  2. Many stop to talk each week ... it is a blessing for sure. Some are true seekers ... some are just curious ... some are looking to pick a fight.

Brian has a few good articles posted about the most common questions the brothers get asked while preaching on the streets; here's the link to that:

    (it's the last two articles)

    Lord bless you.

  3. Hello,
I found this link on youtube just thought he may have a point. you do not have to post this because you will probably not agree with his conclusion however IF you look at it with an honest heart and an open mind I believe you will see it is true. You give the judgment of the lord but leave out the HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE.
I do not mean to pull-any-punches I say this from my bleeding heart; please read John 3:17 we are Christians which interpreted means little Christ's. Some of these signs are NOT Christ-like.

May the Lord use you in a way that is pleasing to HIM.

    Blessings,
    A-Prophet

  4. Hello "A-Prophet", thank you for the feedback. I suggest reading John 3:18. There is no hope without Jesus.

    Lord bless you.

  5. Hello again,
Yes John 3:18 states that "if you do not believe you are condemned ALREADY". So please tell me if one is condemned do they ONLY need to be shown there damnation or possibly a HOPE of FREEDOM OF SIN?

Jesus DID in-fact show the world its damnation but he never left it without a solution/hope of eternal life. By holding signs that show a ones fallen-state is agreeable however should NEVER be done without also signs of hope. You do not want people to run from Hell you want them to realize there need of a Savior and instead of running from Hell they run to Christ.

You are hurting MANY new/weak Christians (I hope UNINTENTUALLY) with these aggressive signs.
Please consider what I am saying, there are many people that are walking bye but never say a word to any of you all they see are the signs, these are the people you are hurting.

    Blessings,
    A-Prophet

  6. First, I want to say that I appreciate the honesty in the anonymous name you chose; in using the prefix “A” you have effectively turned the word ‘prophet’ into the negative form [false prophet].

    Some questions for you:
    - Do you believe in non-resistance?
    - Do you accept divorced and remarried people as Christians?
    - Do you store up treasures on earth?
    - Do you believe you must forgive to be forgiven?
    - Do you swear oaths?

How can you show others to Christ when you don’t even know Him yourself? You think we are drawing people away from christ, and we are … away from the false christ that is. Until you understand Who the true Christ is, you will never understand what we are doing on the streets.

You probably believe that no one can do what’s right until they ‘get saved’. Yet the problem is, once someone ‘gets saved’, very, very few ever start doing what’s right. Your plan of salvation doesn’t foster people being true disciples. It doesn’t bring men into the obedience of the Faith. How many quit living in adultery (divorce and remarriage), quit hating their enemies, quit storing up treasures on earth, and so on because they ‘accept Jesus into their hearts’? They don’t … because they are being lead to “A” christ, but not THE CHRIST.

Show me an example of biblical Christianity being lived out by someone that passes us by on the streets and I’d be willing to listen to what they have to say. If they are not following the Christ of the Bible, then they are anti-Christ.

  7. Greetings David,

I see you never lost your touch at twisting words,

First of all, please allow me to clear things up when I use the suffix "A" as in "A-Prophet" it is simply because I am not "THE-Prophet" please forgive the misunderstanding but you have not been writing the LORD, but just another man.
I am a true Christian I believe and obey the words of the bible and walk in the SPIRIT of God, I am not a false prophet nor am I leading people away from Christ.

Second I simply expressed a concern (NEVER QUESTIONING YOUR MOTIVE) about the signs you were holding and that concern was never addressed directly.

As-far-as the questions asked of me, I will not answer, due to the fact they were not asked of me in honesty but just to find fault in me. However I will say that I hope you let Christ out of the box that you put him in.

I am afraid if this is how you treat a fellow follower you are in Grave Danger. I will be praying for you and I also forgive you for the way you treated me.

May the Lord bless you and open your mind to understand that God wishes none to parish but offered them his Son. Holding signs of condemnation IS agreeable but never giving those needy people a way out of there sin is not fair.

    Blessings,
    A-Prophet
